Our first weekend we couldn't travel anywhere over night so we took two day trips! The first day we went to the city of Trier. In Trier there are Roman ruins, Trier was the furthest that the Romans made it. It was so awesome we got to go up in the ruins and the view of the city was amazing! They had ruins of a church, amphitheater, and the Imperial Baths. We also visited some churches and a palace. Trier also had great shopping but I did more looking then buying!
